SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Brief
Arc Greater Twin Cities is a nonprofit organization with the mission to secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the opportunity to realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play. Arc wanted to effectively fit various social channels into its existing marketing plan and track conversions, build excitement about a new store opening, and encourage volunteerism.
Solution
Priority's experience in integrated marketing campaigns, social media marketing and the unique challenges of non-profit organizations was used to:
- Build a strategy for the pilot
- Educate Arc's marketing committee on sound social media strategies
- Secure buy-in from board members and other stakeholders.
Results
Within one month, Priority collaborated with the Arc marketing committee to develop a social strategy, develop the fan page and promote the campaign. Hundreds of engaged people became fans of the Facebook page and continue to utilize the medium in unexpected and exciting ways. In the first few weeks the campaign caught the attention of the local news, further generating buzz. The pilot has been deemed a rousing success and plans are under way to expand the task force scope across the organization. Results from the first month can be seen below:
Fans: 450
Average Post Quality: 4 out of 5
Average Number of Interactions: 29
